The COVID-19 pandemic has dramatically impacted the productivity and workloads of engineering faculty, disproportionately affecting marginalized groups and those facing intersectional inequalities. How can faculty effectively communicate the impact that COVID has had on their workload, productivity, and growth when applying for tenure, promotion, and new positions?

This virtual panel, featuring ASEE President-Elect Adrienne Minerick (Michigan Technological University) and Agnieszka Miguel (Seattle University), will offer recommendations and best practices on how to craft an effective COVID impact statement, sharing insights from faculty and administrators from several universities. Following the webinar, attendees will be invited to join an ASEE Hub community writing group for continued progress and support.
