In an era where Generative AI (GenAI) is becoming an integral part of the professional landscape, it is crucial for students to be adept at utilizing these tools effectively. This micro course will address how to scaffold learners’ strategic use of GenAI in a manner that fosters entrepreneurial mindset.
This micro course is structured around the Three C’s of Entrepreneurially Minded Learning (EML)– Curiosity, Connections, and Creating Value–with the following objectives: 1. Creating Value: Scaffolding Students to Maximize Their Impact with GenAI. We will consider ways to encourage learners to view GenAI as an active collaborator, thereby maximizing their impact. Participants will gain practical examples of activities that position AI as a valuable tool, merging its capabilities with students’ creativity to maximize impact. 2. Developing Curiosity: GenAI Isn’t Always Cheating. This discussion will center on using these tools pedagogically to foster constructive engagement. 3. Making Connections: Integrating GenAI with Existing Practices. This section will encourage participants to consider how GenAI can enhance existing educational practices with minimal adjustments but a significant impact. Attendees will gain actionable strategies for incorporating GenAI into their current practices.
