As the “boots on the ground” on college and university campuses, faculty have the power and position to promote change and evolve organizational culture to increase female participation. In this webinar, Daryl Chubin (Understanding Interventions) explores the “four frames” approach to understanding organizational change, which serves as a lens for viewing practices that reflect healthy, supportive, and evolving environments for women in engineering, and helps us categorize what has been tried—and worked—in changing the engineering education experience. Beth Holloway (Purdue University) discusses specific actions faculty can take to effect change and evolve culture on their campuses, using real-world examples from faculty champions for female participation.
